Anti-Transmembrane serine protease 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene TMPRSS4 in humans. The gene may also be known as transmembrane protease, serine 4, CAPH2, MT-SP2, TMPRSS3, and transmembrane protease serine 4. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 48.2 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
