Anti-Ubiquitin specific peptidase 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene USP2 in humans. The gene may also be known as UBP41, USP9, ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolase 2, and 41 kDa ubiquitin-specific protease. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 68.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, plant, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
