Anti-UBPM antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the UBPM antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the USP16 gene, which encodes ubiquitin specific peptidase 16. This protein is known to function in cell division and chromatin organization, among other biological roles. The human version of UBPM has a canonical amino acid length of 823 residues and a protein mass of 93.6 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as UBP-M. Western Blot is the most common application for the UBPM antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
