Anti-H-PROTEIN antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the H-PROTEIN antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MYBPH gene, which encodes myosin binding protein H. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of H-PROTEIN has a canonical amino acid length of 477 residues and a protein mass of 52.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be notably expressed in the skeletal muscle. This target antigen may also be known as H-protein.
