Anti-SMALED2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SMALED2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BICD2 gene, which encodes BICD cargo adaptor 2. This protein is known to function in protein transport and cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. The human version of SMALED2 has a canonical amino acid length of 824 residues and a protein mass of 93.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, Golgi, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. SMALED2 is a member of the BicD protein family. Indicated applications for SMALED2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
