Anti-CLASP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CLASP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CLASRP gene, which encodes CLK4 associating serine/arginine rich protein. This protein is known to function in mRNA processing and RNA splicing, among other biological roles. The human version of CLASP has a canonical amino acid length of 674 residues and a protein mass of 77.2 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as SFRS16. Indicated applications for CLASP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Western Blot.
