Anti-ARTD16 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ARTD16 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PARP8 gene, which encodes poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase family member 8. This protein is a reported Mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase that mediates mono-ADP-ribosylation of target proteins. The human version of ARTD16 has a canonical amino acid length of 854 residues and a protein mass of 95.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, urinary bladder, and appendix. ARTD16 is a member of the ARTD/PARP protein family.
