Anti-ALDI antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ALDI antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TMT1B gene, which encodes thiol methyltransferase 1B. This protein is reported to be a Thiol S-methyltransferase that catalyzes the transfer of a methyl group from S-adenosyl-l-methionine to hydrogen sulfide and other thiol compounds including dithiothreitol, 7alpha-thiospironolactone, L-penicillamine, and captopril. The human version of ALDI has a canonical amino acid length of 244 residues and a protein mass of 27.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells. ALDI is a member of the Methyltransferase protein superfamily. Indicated applications for ALDI antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
