Anti-RLIP76 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RLIP76 is a known alias name of the protein ralA binding protein 1, encoded by the RALBP1 gene in humans. This 655-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a multifunctional protein that functions as a downstream effector of RALA and RALB. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell and features cleaved and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed, but at low levels. Other synonyms for RLIP76 include RIP1 and RLIP1. Western Blot is the most common application for the RLIP76 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
