Although none of the T cell activation markers is perfect, we needed to at least have reliable antibodies to stain for such markers. CD25 (IL-2 receptor alpha) is one of the important markers of T cell activation. It is also used in T-reg identification. We got this ASR antibody to evaluate, and it has been working well straight out of the vial. Activated T cells can be seen staining with this antibody nicely.

Results Summary

The results show good (expected) staining on T cells (shown here as a subset of the lymphocytes) and most importantly, no non-specific staining is seen on the other cells (monocytes or granulocytes). The staining intensity is good.
