Incorporation of BrdU in proliferating cells was measured by BrdU cell proliferation enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit (Sigma-Aldrich). In our experiments we precisely assessed CD8+ and CD4+ T-cell proliferation in the presence of Treg cells and determined the Treg cell suppressive capacity towards CD8+ and CD4+ T-cells.
