This ELISA worked but TAK1 expression is low and the kit did nto have the best signal. For pTAK1 this was even lower and LPS positive control showed minimal pTAK1 levels.

We used this to look at TAK1 activation in human PBMCs ex vivo. We saw ok TAK1 expression but the pTAK1 expression was low and the positive control of LPS did not show marked upregualtion. There is concern the pTAK1 Ab used in the ELISA may not be specific.
