Product Name:

TeSR™-E5/E6 Basal Medium

Catalog Number:

#05916

WWe use TeSR™-E6 for induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell differentiation. This medium is serum- and xeno-free and does not contain any growth factors. Our results indicate that it maintains a stable and effective environment for both embryonic stem (ES) and iPS cell differentiation. Initially, the ES and iPS cells are cultured in Matrigel-coated 6-well plates using TeSR™-E8™ medium. Once the cells reach 50% confluence, we replace the medium with TeSR™-E5/E6 Basal Medium and nephron organoid inducers. The cells are then maintained in this medium thereafter.

The Bottom Line

With sequential inducers in TeSR™-E5/E6 Basal Medium, ES and iPS cells were successfully differentiated into nephron progenitor cell 10 days after and further formed nephron organoid in the 96-well plate.
