Thermal Rocker Model 4637

Catalog Number:

4637

We utilized the Lab-Line Thermal Rocker to incubate protein extracts from leaf tissues and to gently agitate the samples during the staining and incubation phases of our experiments. These experiments focused on cell polarity and developmental progression in plants influenced by intracellular scaffolding proteins. Our research aimed to explore how intracellular scaffolding proteins affect the cellular organization and morphogenesis of plant leaves. The built-in heating feature of the thermal rocker enabled us to maintain consistent temperatures during chemical treatments, ensuring uniform exposure across all samples. Its capability to combine gentle rocking with stable heat control made it an invaluable tool for preparing high-quality samples for downstream analysis, including confocal imaging. This instrument was instrumental in uncovering the mechanisms that govern the reorganization of scaffolding proteins during plant leaf development.
