The Pierce BCA Protein Assay includes Reagent A and Reagent B, which need to be pre-mixed. This product helped to quantify total protein content in bacterial and cell lysates for normalized loading onto the gel. It also helped quantify total protein in solution post purification of a single protein. The stock solutions could be made and stored at 4C, which made using the kit even easier.
