In my research on human cohorts with various respiratory diseases, I utilized an FGF-21 ELISA kit to measure the levels of FGF-21 in the plasma of both healthy individuals and those with the disease. The results showed that FGF-21 levels were significantly elevated in the plasma of diseased subjects compared to healthy subjects.
