Recombinant Mouse IGF-I/IGF-1 Protein

We obtained recombinant IGF-1 protein from R&D Systems to test its effect on the migration of mouse primary cells. To this end, mouse endothelial cells were growth-arrested and treated with either a vehicle or IGF-1 at a concentration of 40 nanomoles/mL. Cell migration was measured using a Boyden chamber assay. The results show that IGF-1 increases the migration of mouse endothelial cells for up to 12 hours.
