Highly Sensitive and Easy-To-Use Human IL-8 ELISA Kit

The Human IL-8 ELISA kit from R&D Systems was used to investigate the impact of a growth factor on IL-8 production in primary human endothelial cells. In this study, growth-arrested endothelial cells were treated with either a vehicle or a growth factor for 2 hours. Cell extracts were then prepared and IL-8 was quantified using the aforementioned ELISA kit. The results indicate that the growth factor treatment induced IL-8 production in the primary endothelial cells.
