Product Name:

Zombie Aqua Viability Dye

Catalog Number:

77143

We are a B cell vaccine lab. In some of our FACS panels, we use Zombie Aqua viability dye to gate on live cells.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Application

Flow cytometry

Starting Material

Human and mouse splenocytes, B cells

Tips

Follow manufacturer's protocol, and make sure to wash cells with PBS to get rid of FBS from cell suspension before staining.

Results Summary

Staining with Zombie aqua viability dye helps us differentiate between live and dead cells. Gating on live cells is important prior to analyzing the expression of surface and intracellular markers. The staining result remains the same on cells fixed using PFA/ FoxP3 Fix-Perm buffer kit.
