This is a bead bath that is extremely helpful in the cell culture room when trying to heat media. It doesn't get anything wet like in a water bath and does what it is supposed to do.

The Good

It successfully heats up materials.

The Bad

It takes around 30+ minutes to do it and sometimes the beads do get cold and you have to move the media etc.

The Bottom Line

This is a pretty reliable product that successfully heats things up but sometimes if you put too many things into the bead bath it takes more than 30 minutes to heat up.
