Clone Number:

GK1.5

This antibody provides a good CD4 mouse staining with a Log3 separation and acceptable background. Background can be reduced and staining optimized with titration, which I recommend.

Results Summary

I use this antibody for detecting CD4 T cells in mouse intestinal tissue, and separate from CD8, and double negative T cells. The staining was convincing and specific to perform proper gating strategy.

Summary

The Good

Good and specific staining.

The Bad

Higher staining intensity could be achievable with better fluorochrome.

The Bottom Line

A good staining and specificity. The separation is close to Log3 and background is acceptable. I recommend titration to reduce the background.
