To detect antibodies against human common cold viruses in pre-pandemic serum samples, I have used non-fat dry milk from americanBio to prepare the blocking buffer for the ELISA.

Using this reagent to prepare the blocking buffer reduced the background absorbance and able to detect true antibody positive samples.
