IFN-gamma are known antivirals and are produced by immune cells in defense when one is exposed to the virus. I have used a Human IFN-gamma ELISA kit to detect the plasma levels of IFN-gamma in Human subjects infected with respiratory viruses and compared it with plasma from healthy subjects.
