We use this on adherent tumor cells to dislodge them from TC-treated flasks. After removing the media, we put enough to cover the bottom and waited 5 minutes before "power-washing" with a pipet tip. Cells come off very quickly in one wash without scraping or tapping. Trypsin can be more harsh on other cells and change their membrane proteins, so we do not use it on our T cells or DCs.
