Ideal Cell Freezing Container From Millipore

This device provides efficient freezing conditions for cell storage, it is a cooling container that gradually decreases temperature at a 1 °C/ min rate. It can store up to 12 cryovials. In my lab, we usually prepare cell stocks and store them in this cooling container at the -80 °C freezer and leave it for 24 h. After that, you can either transfer your frozen cells to a box at -80°C or into liquid nitrogen. The container is alcohol-free, lightweight, and small. Extremely useful for a cell culture lab or even if you need to prepare bacteria/yeast stocks.
