Sulfatase from Helix pomatia
S9626-5KU
Info: Supplier Page
We recently identified a phenyl sulfate metabolite regulated by fasting in mice. A key question is what enzymes are involved in the biosynthesis and degradation of this molecule. To this end, we conducted a biochemical screen across different mouse tissues to identify the enzyme(s) via activity-based fractionation. We used this promiscuous sulfatase from Helix pomatia as a positive control of hydrolase.
Sulfatase
N/A
Aliquot and freeze down at -80 degrees C.
This sulfatase exhibited robust and consistent enzymatic activities using phenyl sulfates as substrates in vitro.
Consistent quality.
This sulfatase served as a good positive control for desulfate reactions of phenyl sulfate metabolites.
