We used this to stain cytokeratin 5 on mouse mammary glands and it showed very clear and convincing membrane staining. For immunofluorescence (IF) staining, FFPE sections were deparaffinized, and rehydrated, and then antigen retrieval was done using citric acid buffer (pH 6.0). It was then treated with 0.3% H2O2 and 0.25% Triton X 100 solution. Then sections were incubated with this antibody at 1:1000 at 4 degrees O/N, washed 3X with PBS, then incubated with Alexa Fluor 488 goat anti-rabbit IgG (Life Technologies; A11008) secondary antibody, and slides were counterstained with DAPI (Sigma Aldrich). A representative picture was taken under a Leica IF Microscope for evaluation.
