To measure 4EBP1 in a disease model, the mouse was given a specific treatment, euthanized, and tissue samples were collected. The protein extracts from these tissue samples were immunoprecipitated with 4EBP1 antibody and the immunocomplexes were resolved in 12% denaturing gels and immunoblotted for the target protein. The selection of antibodies was based on the specificity of the antibody shown in the flyer.

5% skimmed milk prepared in 1x TBST.
Bovine anti-goat-IgG HRP Antibody, dilution (1:4000) in 5% skimmed milk prepared in 1x TBST, 2hr at RT.

Enhanced chemiluminescent detection in X-Ray films.
The antibody has detected a very strong and intense band of the 4EBP1-test protein complex, and this shows the specificity of this antibody was high for its on-target epitope.
This antibody is good for 4EBP1 immunoprecipitation.
