I used this to stain lipids in one of my adipogenic induction experiments using human mammary pre-adipocytes. After treatment with adipogenic factors, the cells clearly showed an accumulation of lipid droplets under a bright field and were positively stained with LipidSpot 610. This was confirmed using the TexasRed channel under fluorescence microscopy.
