Our group recently acquired the electroporation system 4D-Nucleofector with the X unit. The kit V4XP-3032 includes 4 strips of 8 wells that can be used independently. The protocol has fixed volume (20ul total), cell quantity (1M), and DNA or Protein/RNA quantity along with a pre-set electroporation program according to the cell type. Excellent results without any inconvenient optimization steps.

Results Summary

Excellent results without optimization. Even the primary cells showed very high viability and 80-90% electroporation efficiency. The very small volume (20ul) is very useful when using expensive reactive (sgRNA and purified Cas9) for the electroporation.
