Antibodies are produced by plasma cells (PC) that are terminally differentiated B cells and play crucial roles in host protection against infections but are considered to mediate autoimmunity in patients with rheumatic diseases, such as systemic lupus (SLE) or rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Our research aims at understanding the biology of B cells and antibody-secreting cells (ASC) in health and disease, but in this experiment we are looking for T cells, and to do that we stain CD3.

As it can be seen in the provided image, CD3+ T cells can clearly be identified using this antibody that recognise CD3. Upon gating lymphocytes based on FCS vs SSC, T cells (CD3+) cells in the mouse spleen correspond to around 30% of lymphocytes.
Reliable and good signal.
The antibody has a good signal and is not expensive.
