Iba1 was detected in formalin fixed paraffin embedded sections of mouse brain using Rat Anti-Mouse Iba1 Protein A purified Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # ab178847) at a dilution of 1:1000 overnight at 4 °C. Hoechst 33342 at 1:5000 used for nuclear stain during secondary incubation. The Iba1 staining denoted microglia and potential monocytes and/or macrophages in brain sections proximal to brain microvasculature. This image was taken on a Leica DMi8 epifluorescence microscope with HC PL FLUOTAR 20x/0.55 DRY.
