I use this daily to keep track of my mice overall, but also to check genotypes, mating pairs, litters, and weanlings at a moments glance. Our entire lab uses this service and it is very nice because you can mark each mouse with your name to 'claim' it and write an experimental plan for the mouse in the description category. While it can be annoying to physically sac mice and then remember to go back on softmouse to 'sac' them online, overall, this service dramatically improves my ability to keep our mouse colony organized and in order.
