We use CD11b in our panel within a flow cytometry experiment to identify specific antigens on the cells as a marker of inflammation. Our starting sample is Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs). Cells sample is stained prior to fixation with formaldehyde. The dilution used 1:50. During the analysis of the scatter signal we do eliminate cell debris and dead cells. The signal is strong. Results are reliable and reproducible.
