We used this ELISA kit several times. The kit is pretty sensitive, and has different control for serum samples or cell samples.

New samples need to pretest for the right dilution before running the whole plate.
In our experiment, we compared the serum OPG levels between healthy subjects and patients with diseases. We found that patients with diseases have a higher serum OPG level as compared to the healthy subjects.
Sensitivity is high, background is low.
The whole procedure takes around 5 hours, though the bench work is only 30-40 min.
