ABclonal PowerPol kit was used for fast genotyping of mice from cross between Cav-1 KO and Claudin-5 GFP mice.

HotSHOT protocol used to prepare genomic DNA template (Truett, et al. 2000).
Genotyping PCR protocol with boiled, non-digested tissue worked very well. Both Cav-1 and GFP genotypes were clear with minimal non-specific product amplification.

Not for use in cloning applications.
This PCR mix is the cheap and works very well for genotyping applications. Highly recommend.
