This is a great protein stain! It is more sensitive than Coomassie (the standard) and doesn't take that much more time. I used per the recommendation of a publication.

I was able to use this (along with other methods) to differentiate between two forms of transferrin. I tried to run a concentrated media sample and saw a smear because of the high protein content.
