This kit is designed for the generation of chemically competent E.coli without heat shocking, but I find it is still necessary to perform a heat shock.

I use this kit to generate various chemically competent E.coli cells, Stbl3, Top10 and BL21. It works, but I still need to perform a heat shock for efficient DNA transformation.
Good quality.
