We used this Calcein AM to stain the live cell. Calcein AM is a cell-permeant dye that can be used to determine cell viability in most eukaryotic cells. In live cells the nonfluorescent calcein AM is converted to a green-fluorescent. We tested in several different cells. It worked great.

Store in -20 and protect from light.
We used both flow cytometry and confocal to observe the cells incubated with Calcein AM. It worked good and we were able to see the live cells.
