Iba1 antibody was used to label the microglia in the developing brain cortex of P16 mice. High background could be minimized using 0.02% gelatin in the staining solutions.
Works better with Antigen retrieval (10mM Sodium citrate-boiling)
Specific staining, works even for thicker sections upto 100µm

Antibody has a great signal, however background needs to be optimized.
