We used this kit to remove myelinated cells from mouse brain homogenate and enrich for endothelial cells. The protocol was fast and worked well to remove myelinated cells and contaminating myelin proteins.

Incubate cells with beads in 4C fridge, not on ice.

Results Summary

Flow cytometry analysis showed the Myelin Removal Beads removed small, granular cells and debris from our brain tissue prep. Using the kit, we were able to enrich for CD31+ endothelial cells.
