Our group's experiment are heavily based on cellular assays. Thus, a live/dead staining is required in all of our setups.

Our working solution is 1:1000 in PBS. In our FACs panels, we dilute the staining antibodies in the diluted L/D and incubate for ~15min.
U266 cells were stained with the live/dead kit. A clear separation of the populations can be observed.

A bit expensive.
The kit works well and is reliable between batches. The staining requires low amounts of the regent and the incubation times are short.
