Sall1 is an important transcription factor during the renal development. This antibody allowed us to evaluate the eventual deregulation of Sall1 in genetically modified mouse model affecting renal development.
Immunofluorescence
Paraffine embedded renal samples
1:200 in blocking solution, 1 hour at RT
PBS + donkey normal serum 10%
Fluorescence coupled secondary antibody, 1:500 for 1 hour at RT
None
fluorescence/ confocal microscopy
The signal of Sall1 after incubation with this antibody resulted in a clear nuclear staining as expected. Some diffuse signal seems to be aspecific, but it can be solved with higher dilution or lower exposition time.
N/A
Strong signal
Some light aspecificity
Good antibody to follow the epithelial structures that generate during kidney development. The nuclear staining facilitate the co-staining with other antibodies with different localisation.
