Smooth actin is expressed by the cells surrounding the arteries and, in the kidney, by the glomerular podocytes. In these structures, it is important to maintain the flexibility of the endothelial structures undergoing pressure variation. This antibody allows evaluating the expression level of this protein on physiological and pathological conditions.
