Results Summary

This antibody allowed us to visualise the epithelial/endothelial structures when working both on whole organs (embryonic murin kidneys, thick organs fresh slices - vibratome), fixed-paraffine embedded sections, frozen tissues. It

Additional Notes

If using PFA fixed-paraffine embedded tissue sections it works better after PK treatment (PK at 5-10 ug/ml in PBS, 15 min RT).

Summary

The Good

Very flexible and reliable.

The Bad

PK treatment is required for better signal in PFA fixed-paraffine embedded tissues.

The Bottom Line

This antibody is very easy to used and versatile. It can be used in whole mount tissues imaging (fluorescence) , classical immunostaining on paraffine embedded sections (fluorescence or enzymatic detection) and can be also used in tandem after in situ experiments.
