We used different transfection protocols, according to the cell line requirements. We then switched to JetPrime since it is very versatile in almost all the lines we use for either over-expression studies or proteins production. So far, it work very well with all the lines derived from the HEK (HEK-F, HEK293T, HEK-17, HEK Platinum-E) and with certain suspension lines (K562).

Very useful to standardize transfection protocols on immortalized adherent cell lines. Less efficient when comes to primary or suspension cells.
