Large-conductance calcium and voltage-dependent potassium BK channel KCNMB1 encodes the β1 subunit present in the vascular smooth muscle. Reports have shown that KCNMB1 knockout mice have decreased calcium sensitivity, elevated BP, and cardiac hypertrophy. Here we checked the expression of KCNMB1 by chemoattractant in the vascular arteries.

Mouse Lysate

Primary Incubation

1:1000 prepared in 1x TBST

Blocking Agent

5% Skim milk

Secondary Incubation

1:4000 prepared in 1x TBST

Results Summary

We performed western blot and we detect and analyzed the KCNMB1 expression. We found that there is a time dependent increase of KCNMB1 expression in the arteries by chemoattractant.
