I used a lot of anti-NRF2 antibodies and this was the best! It is anti-rat, which is a rare secondary species, so I can usually use it with other primary antibodies that are anti-mouse or anti-rabbit. This helps me detect multiple proteins at the same time. It was very easy to optimize the concentration of this antibody. I just used the concentration listed in the product datasheet.

Results Summary

I wanted to look at constitutive as well as activated levels of NRF2 in my cells. I saw a clear NRF2 increase after treatment with activator (confirmed after qPCR too). I also got one strong band at the expected molecular weight, so I knew it was correct.

The Bottom Line

This antibody really helped me after I had wasted a lot of time and resources trying to optimize other NRF2 antibodies. It gave me good bands in the first run. I also reuse this antibody by storing the antibody solution in sodium azide. I purchased the secondary from BioLegend too.
