I use this dye in flow cytometry experiments to assess viability in samples that will be fixed later on. It works well to stain dead cells and holds up well to fixation.

Expanded NK cells and cancer cells.
Needs to be diluted in PBS before use.
This dye works well to stain dead cells, although it may stain more cells than a DNA binding stain would. If the samples need to be fixed, this will hold up.
