Our research focuses on MRC-5 and the pSMAD pathway. I used this antibody for Western blot and got excellent results. I stimulated the cells with TGF-b and the pathway was activated; I was looking at one of fibrosis markers (a-SMA) and it was overexpressed once the cells were stimulated with TGF-b.
